Instructions
for completion The Wills Eye Hospital Society is sponsoring the Wills Eye Institute Annual Alumni Conference. If you are interested in presenting a free paper at the 2010 Wills Eye Institute Annual Conference, please read the following instructions and then complete and submit the 2010 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM. The Free Paper Section will be on Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the Wills Eye Institute Auditorium, 8th floor, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The deadline for receipt of completed forms at the email address below is 5 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2009. Due to the large number of abstracts typically received, late abstracts will not be considered. IMPORTANT: Only email submissions will be accepted. To be eligible to submit an abstract and present a paper, you must be a member of at least one of the following groups: a current resident at Wills Eye Institute; a current fellow at Wills Eye Institute; a current active member of the medical staff of Wills Eye Institute; an ex-resident of Wills Eye Hospital; an ex-fellow of Wills Eye Hospital; or an ex-staff member of Wills Eye Hospital. Medical students, pre-residency fellows, and similar individuals who are not members of one of the preceding groups may not submit an abstract as first author and may not present another first author’s paper at the conference. Only one paper abstract may be submitted per presenting (first) author. All abstracts submitted by an eligible resident or fellow must list a member of the active teaching staff at Wills Eye Institute as the second (supporting) author. No more than three (3) co-authors of any abstract will be acknowledged in the conference program. Consequently, the 2010 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM provides space for a maximum of 3 co-authors. Do not submit separate pages listing additional co-authors. All presentations will be computer generated in Powerpoint. There will be no slide presentations. The disclosure of financial interest form (found here) must be submitted by fax (856-858-6797) at the time the abstract is submitted or your paper will not be considered. All presenters must be registered for the conference. Conference email address: Willsconference@willseye.org You will receive acknowledgement of receipt of submission by return email. Contact
